Teo Buisson is an Aquaculture Technician at Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, working in the Carlsbad White Seabass Hatchery. Teo studied marine biology at the University of California  San Diego and now specializes in seabass husbandry and artemia production. Before working at Hubbs, Teo was an intern for an aquaculture lab at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, School of Freshwater Sciences, where he led a study on the impacts of dietary microplastic contamination on the growth performance of juvenile yellow perch. When Teo isn’t working with fish, he loves surfing, spearfishing, and skiing.
