Elizabeth Gagneron

Liz is the Project Manager for the Center of Excellence in Marine Aquaculture and HSWRI’s offshore program, where she leads permitting and stakeholder coordination for offshore aquaculture development. Her background spans environmental and regulatory compliance, scientific research, and public outreach, including former roles at the California State Coastal Conservancy and the Center for Ocean Solutions. She holds a passion for marine conservation, sustainable resource management, and scientific communication. Liz earned her master’s degree in Biological Oceanography from Moss Landing Marine Labs and dual bachelor’s degrees in Molecular and Cell Biology and Economics from UC Berkeley.
