Hatchery Manager at HSWRI – Leon Raymond Hubbard, Jr. Marine Fish Hatchery in Carlsbad. Mariana has 15 years of experience in aquaculture, contributing to both commercial operations and scientific research with a particular focus on fish nutrition and marine larviculture. Currently, Mariana is leading efforts restoring California’s white seabass populations and supporting research on other commercially and ecologically important marine fish species. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed aquaculture journals and serves as a reviewer, contributing to the advancement of sustainable aquaculture practices.
